Climbing in The Virgin River Gorge.
There's a lot of really good, but really hard climbing in the Virgin River Gorge. This was my first trip and a real eye opener at what long, consistant, hard climbing is all about. I need to get stronger and less scared for sure to be able to hang down here but there's a ton of cool stuff if you're good enough. Here are a few pics.

Congratulations Eric! This site is likely the most interesting adventure site I have come across. My comments apply not specifically to this Virgin River Gorge report but to every entry I've read.
You guys are for real. And you have a real photographer! Over the years, I had pretty much concluded that most skilled adventurers, climbers, canyoneerers, were seldom decent photographers. So when I would view web sites of fun trips, the visual account was usually lacking. Your verbal/literary reports are also exceptional. I suspect you try to write the story shortly after the experience? or do you let it grow a bit? No really, you have a very enjoyable combo on this site and you are still reporting. So often, the enthusiasm for sharing runs out sooner than the enthusiasm for doing. For myself,"the experience" is my main objective, photography for sharing the experience is a close second. Some of my photography can be seen www.lumenlux.redbubble.com and some audio/visual presentations of our old-man adventures can be found on www.Beechbrook.com under the name of LumenLux or Robert C Richmond.
It's amazing how active you are, with the number of trips reported! I have now enjoyed many of your reports, but must ask, are there any of your posted trips that are doable without rope skills? Or is that missing the point? Anyway, the main point of this lengthy comment is again - THANK YOU for sharing so well what you so enjoy doing!
